Designed in Spring 2023, Completed in Summer 2023

I had the privilege of designing a large-scale mural measuring 60′ x 10′ at CRISPR Therapeutics, located in South Boston, and painted it in collaboration with teens and mentors at the non-profit organization Artists for Humanity. CRISPR Therapeutics, a leader in gene-editing technologies, focuses on developing transformative therapies for serious genetic diseases.

The mural, situated on the third floor, was inspired by the floor’s theme of water, symbolizing its foundational role as the building block of life. The design concept reflects the fluidity and interconnectedness of biological systems, drawing a parallel between the dynamic movement of a double helix and the graceful flow of fish through water. The color palette was carefully selected to complement the building’s interior design, creating a cohesive and thought-provoking visual experience. This project was commissioned by LLMDesign for CRISPR Therapeutics.
